Endless Opportunities
Humanities Curriculum Day events encourage students to think about how the world around has evolved. During the day students are expected to develop a wide range of practical skills. New technology enables learners to use and judge various kinds of evidence, such as film, photographs and written material; to detect bias and prejudice; and to be able to understand how people and societies change over time.
CLC ‘News Day’
Using our state of the art TV Studio, Students will place themselves into a news report using chroma key technology. Students will choose footage, background images and scripts enabling learners to develop creative skills and gain knowledge in media production.

2D Animation
Learn about the life of Tutankhamen one of the most famous Egyptian Pharaoh’s, interview William Shakespeare or stage your own Roman gladiator simulation! Students can embark on a multi-media exploration of our past, focusing on topics such as Egyptians, Romans, Vikings and Tudors by creating storyboards and comic strips. Using the award winning Kar2ouche software students will then bring their animations to life!
