The recent OFSTED report on Art, Craft and Design highlighted the need for primary teachers to have opportunities in their CPD which support the developments in the subject and curriculum.

This includes the uses of new media and new technologies. This one day course will introduce you to Adobe Photoshop ( full version and Elements ) and allow you to explore the possibilities of both digital photography and digital image manipulation in the classroom. We will explore and get to know the tools available, link this to using a digital camera as both a tool for recording and creativity and also link it to other software which is available, some of which is free to download.

We will also look at some examples of work from schools locally and nationally to inspire you to take your new knowledge and skill back into school and have impact on the creative curriculum.
